Music Therapy

Have you ever heard a song on the radio and were immediately brought back to a moment or a place? Have you ever used music to help change your mood or support how you were feeling? We all have, and for good reasons. Music has been clinically proven to not only restore memories, but aid in the healing process, and improve quality of life.

Imagine being able to provide that experience for your loved one on a regular basis; to connect them to the feelings and experiences that fill their heart, energize their spirit and connect to their soul. Whether someone is living with Alzheimer's, a physical or cognitive disability or delay, mental illness, or in palliative care, the combination of music and therapy has the power to change lives.

Music Therapy is the clinical use of music by an accredited music therapist to support the well-being of an individual; forming personal connections that can bring to light what is healthy in a person. Music Therapists create individualized treatment programs based on the needs of the individual or group with goals in the social, emotional, cognitive, communicative, spiritual or physical domains.
